BOTOX

BOTOX

WHAT CAUSES WRINKLES TO FORM?

Age leaves its mark most gratly on our faces, manifesting as wrinkles, age spots, sagging and dullness. These effects are worsened by sun exposure, gravity , smoking, volume loss and various physiological changes. We often let our emotions get the better of all of us and over the years, they leave trails on our faces in the form of wrinkles.
There are 2 kinds of wrinkles -Dynamic and static wrinkles. Dynamic wrinkles are visible when we express ourselves throgh a smile, frown or cry, thus causing the muscles on our faces to contract. Dynamic wrinkles caused by overactive muscles can be eradicated by BOTOX.
As our skin becomes less elastic with age, stubborn lines emerge visibly even when the face is relaxed. Such lines are called static wrinkles which are visible even when muscles are at rest. These are usually treated with dermal fillers.

What Botox is ?

A Botox treatment is a simple, non surgical and non invasive procedure that smoothens the deep, persistent wrinkles that developed over time. During treatment, very small doses of Btox are administered via a few tiny injections into the muscles responsible for wrinkles. It relaxes the muscles that causes the wrinkles.
Unlike surgery, Botox is fast, simple, and non invasive with no down time or recovery. You can return directly to work or normal activity following treatment. Because it's highly localised and administered intramuscularly, its effects are usually confined to the region of injection and botox does not remain in your body indefinately. The entire procedure takes less than 10 minutes to complete.
